Amerada Hess Announces Quarterly Dividend on Preferred Stock

NEW YORK, Aug 4, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Board of Directors of Amerada Hess Corporation (NYSE:AHC) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.875 cents per share payable on the 7.00% Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock of the Corporation on September 1, 2004 to holders of record at the close of business on August 15, 2004.
